Conference Cancellation

To: Registered Attendees of the Kaiser Permanente National Nursing Conference
In light of the rapidly evolving status of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 National Nursing Conference which was scheduled for April 28-29 in Anaheim, CA. We want to thank you for registering our event, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
By now, most of you are involved with addressing COVID-19 in some capacity, and in many cases contributing many more hours than usual. I appreciate your commitment, your expertise, your professionalism and all that you do to provide extraordinary nursing care to our members, patients and their families.
Logistics related to meeting cancellation and refunds:
Registration
Your conference registration will be automatically cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded within 2 business days.
Hotel
Your hotel reservation will be automatically cancelled, and any deposits refunded.
Airfare
If you have already booked airfare, please make sure you properly process the expense report and inquire with the airline about receiving credit. If you have questions, please consult with your department manager.
Awards Program
Nominations for the 2020 National Nursing Awards closed on March 13. The nominations are currently in review and the awardees will be announced during Nurses Month.
Posters
The posters that were accepted and scheduled to be presented during the conference will be shared electronically. A link providing access to the posters will be emailed in May to all individuals who were registered to attend the conference.
